“Seasons” was made using minimal gameplay and programming in Twine. This was to observe how a game with little player input can maintain the players' attention and enthusiasm for progression. The extent of “Seasons” gameplay is its branching narrative, where the player will be given choices that will determine the outcome of the story.
Dawn and Masks
Dawn is a young witch living in a frozen wasteland with her dragon, Arcky.
Arcky the Dragon
Arcky is a small dragon and Dawn's familiar. He's been experiencing an illness due to developing magical powers.
Spring the Dragon
Spring is a dragon who must be recruited to save Arcky and the world. May need some convincing after some failures in his past.
Autumn the Dragon
Autumn is an old dragon hiding from the destructive forces dominating the land. He provides wisdom and advice to Dawn and Arcky.
Winter the Dragon
Winter is the most powerful dragon Dawn will encounter. A huge threat to the balance of the world, he must be defeated.
